This is a forester's cabin at Losiny Ostrov National Park in Moscow. Photo was taken two years ago during winter ski walk, but I wanted to paint it all this time and kept photo handy :)
Finally I got my hand at oils and thought this was it, oil being a perfect media for capturing white snow on a cloudy winter day...
Hope this painting reflects the serenity and silence of this magic place.
